The Wedding photography process

The 3-Step Journey to Capturing Your Big Day

Step 1

Planning & Preperation

Just like every relationship, communication is key. We communicate with each other to create a solid foundation for your wedding day. We will create a timeline, gather a family list for photos, and work with the coordinator to coordinate a seamless experience.

Step 2

The Wedding Day

All you have to do is remember your vows and have fun! While you connect with your partner, my team and I are capturing those candid moments, first looks, ceremony, and reception. We help create a stress-free wedding day while you enjoy the celebration.

Step 3

The Delivery

Time to relive the magic. You'll quickly receive a handful of sneak peek photos to share with friends and family on social media. Soon after, you receive a full access private photo gallery of your wedding day that you can download, share and get photos professionally printed to display in your home.

Photojournalistic & Editorial Coverage

Your wedding deserves to feel like a story, not a checklist of photos. We prioritize raw, in the moment moments that not only spark memories, but bring you back into the day of your wedding for decades to come. From candids to editorial bride and groom portraits, your wedding photos will live as authentic as the emotions of your big day.

Natural Posing & Direction for Couples

Once the photos are edited, they are delivered to you in a personal online password protected gallery where we make it easy to buy your favorite photos with high end quality printing right to your doorstep. Share the gallery with family and friends if you'd like, but you take full control of your edited photos once they are delivered to you. We make the process easy to go from the screen to your wall.

Seamless Digital-to-Print Experience

Stiff copy-and-paste poses have no place on your wedding day. We create natural and authentic poses that not only look good but also spark a connection between you and your partner. Never feel awkward during the important moments. My team and I will professionally guide you through cues during photos so you can focus on your connection with your partner.

Quick FAQs

Do we need a second shooter?

I always recommend a second shooter for weddings looking for over 6 hours of coverage, larger guest counts (125+), or a jam-packed timeline (first look, surprises, etc.). The second shooter also captures alternative angles and reactions while the first photographer captures the main focus, you.

What happens if we are both awkward in front of the camera?

It's normal to be awkward in front of the camera at first. Before your wedding, we would have had one, if not multiple photo sessions to get you two used to being in front of the camera. And on your wedding day, I provide guidance to make capturing your wedding day natural and easy.

Our reception venue is very dark. How will you handle it?

My team and I are prepared for low-light situations, utilizing on-camera flash to get into the party for the perfect photos, but occasionally can provide off-camera lighting as well.
